Your privacy on albertcode.dev
What this website collects, why, and how to change your mind. We keep it short, and we collect as little as we can.
Last updated 16 October 2026
In short
- You can read every page without an account, and the site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
- If you choose to follow AlbertCode, we keep your email address only to send you occasional updates about new features and progress.
- We never sell, rent or share your address, and every update email lets you unsubscribe.
Who we are
albertcode.dev is the website of AlbertCode, run by Huy Nguyen. In this note, “we” means AlbertCode. This note covers this website only.
AlbertCode SWE Agent and mini-AlbertCode SWE Agent run on your own computer, with no account and no telemetry, and have their own privacy notice (opens in a new tab).
If you follow AlbertCode by email
When you follow AlbertCode with the Get updates button or the form in the footer of any page, we receive:
- your email address;
- where and when you signed up: which form, on which page, and the time.
We use your address for one thing: to send you occasional emails about AlbertCode's new features and progress, and only when there's something worth sharing. Your agreement, given when you press Follow or Keep me posted, is what allows us to write to you, and you can take it back at any time.
The details travel from this website through Resend, an email delivery service, to a private inbox that only the AlbertCode team can open. We keep them until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them, and then delete them within 30 days.
Stop updates or remove your address
Every update email has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask here, at any time, whether or not you've had an email from us yet:
We'll stop sending updates to that address and delete it within 30 days. To change the address you follow with, follow again with the new one and stop the old one here.
When you visit the site
- Hosting. The site runs on Vercel, which handles each request and, like any web host, briefly logs technical details such as your IP address to keep the service secure and working.
- Visit counts. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views and where visitors come from, without cookies. Visitors aren't identified, and can't be followed from one day to the next.
- Page speed. Vercel Speed Insights measures how quickly pages load, with the page and the kind of device, so we can keep the site fast.
- Buy Me a Coffee. The coffee button is loaded from Buy Me a Coffee. If you open it and choose to support AlbertCode, what you enter there goes to Buy Me a Coffee, under their own privacy policy.
- Your browser. A few preferences stay in your own browser and are never sent to us: your light or dark theme, your progress through the setup guide, and drafts in the run planner.
Apart from the coffee button, the site's fonts and images are served from albertcode.dev itself.
Changes to this note
If anything here changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email address, we'll tell followers by email first.
